About This Place

Located in the heart of Kittery, ME, Navy Yard Bar & Billiards stands out as a welcoming haven for those who appreciate a genuine, laid-back nightlife experience. More than just a bar, this vibrant pool and billiards club offers a compelling mix of entertainment and social fun that feels truly authentic to the local community.

Step inside and you'll immediately notice the friendly atmosphere that regulars rave about. Andrew P captures it perfectly: "Pool tables, good drinks and a jukebox. The combo makes for fun times." Whether you're aiming for precision shots on the pool table or just looking to unwind with a cold drink, Navy Yard Bar & Billiards hits just the right note between lively and unpretentious.

One of the bar's standout features is its diverse and engaging lineup of games. From free pool and darts to corn hole, ping pong, and even pinball, there's no shortage of ways to challenge friends or strike up conversations with fellow patrons. As Adrian Quintos notes, it’s very much a "hometown chill out bar," where "everyone cool has hell" and knows how to relax and enjoy the night at their own pace.

The menu, while focused on spirited fun, delivers with highlights like their signature Rum Buckets and Tequila Shots—perfect for those looking to toast the night in style. Complement these with an affordable beer selection, as praised by Ian Carlsen, and you have the makings of a memorable evening. Ian's experience reflects the spot’s reliable charm: "The bartender was friendly, the beer was cheap, and there was ping pong and pinball. Plus it was open after 8pm!" Such genuine hospitality and accessibility make this a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike, especially those working or staying nearby.

Beyond the drinks and games, Navy Yard offers an inviting social vibe without the overcrowding that often plagues other bars. Rene’e Harris’ praise of "a friendly environment, not overcrowded" and lively live bands adds another welcoming layer to its appeal—signaling that the bar scores highly not only on entertainment but on comfort and ambiance as well.

Whether you’re seeking relaxed camaraderie, a fun night out with friends, or a new regular spot to call your own, Navy Yard Bar & Billiards delivers an experience that feels as genuine and refreshing as the rum buckets it serves. It’s a place where good drinks, great games, and a warm community intersect, crafting nights that linger in memory long after the last shot is sunk.

My kind of bar. Hometown chill out bar. Only a few old locals at the bar. Everyone cool has hell. Free pool, darts, corn hole, and ping pong.

This place is awesome. Was pretty quiet on a Wednesday night. The bartender was friendly, the beer was cheap, and there was ping pong and pinball. Plus it was open after 8pm! Will be making stops here when I’m working in the area again.
